App's immersive view causing nav buttons to go behind status bar

I'm using Android 15 on Pixel 7a. I have version 1.10.9 com.greentech.hisnulmuslim installed. The app's UI is inflated beyond the usable area. As a result, the top navigation bar of the app has gone behind the android os top status bar. The status bar is transparent, so the app nav bar can be seen but it cannot be interacted with. Your feedback from doesn't have a place to attach screenshots. I can share a screenshot if you request via email..

Taheratul Muattara I can confirm this is an issue in most Pixel devices, I have a Pixel 7 and Pixel 9. The search button goes in the area of the notification window and is inaccessible. Please fix it as soon as possible. JazakaAllah for your continued efforts
