Confusing UX: Change the green tick sign from "done" to "not done"

I really like this app but I can't change the green tick sign from "done" to "not done", and every surah is "done" by default even though i never open the surah. I try to change it manually surah by surah and it says it will set every ayah in the surah to "not done" but nothing change...
