{Recent android update has a bug} Unable to open bookmarked verses from collections or add new verses to any collection

After the recent update of Quran android app which I downloaded yesterday, I am unable to visit a verse from collections in the library. The verses aren't showing up in any collection. I am also unable to add verses to a new collection. My phone is redmi k50i
