Assalamualaikum wa rahmatullah. Jazakallah khairan for your feedback.
The Arabic text is not incomplete here, but it is a shortened version of the main hadith which was Narrated in the next Hadith (Hadith no 5472).
These all are the different Narrations of a Hadith, so Imam Bukhari was meant by compiling these Narrations: Every narrator has Narrated the same Hadith, but some of them were Narrated it's shortened version, while some other Narrated the whole Hadith.
So Imam Bukhari was showing here the difference between multiple Narrations and brought the complete hadith with sanad in the end.
Since it has been compiled by Imam Bukhari (RH), we cannot add or remove the Matan on it.
