Bookmark not working properly [For "last read" feature]

Salam aleykoum,
I placed a bookmark (last read) at 2:38. But when I go to library and check it. It says 2:30. I tried different combination but the bookmark always saves a few verses before the one I want the save to be.
I ended up opening my note book (other app) to note my last read verse.
Could you please fix it, it's very annoying to switch apps and sometimes I forget to note my last read so I end up re reading the same verses several times.

To reduce margin of error we save Last Read on the first visible ayah of the the screen, so that no ayah get missed by mistake.
To ease the process we've now added user precedence while saving Last Read. If you save save Last Read manually on any ayah, we will keep it and won't create automatically for this particular sura reading session. If no manual Last Read is saved, then we would add one on the first visible ayah.
The changes are merged in our dev version, hopefully this will be rolled out with the next release In Sha Allah. Please update your app to the latest version upon availability.

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah sebai.ilyes34, can you explain a bit more about your case?
How did you want to track the last read at 2:38?
- Did you rely on the automatic last read ayah detection? Currently the app sets the first ayah showing in the screen as the last read. To avoid mistakenly considering ayahs that are showing in the screen but might not be read yet.
- Or did you manually yourself click on bookmark and then added the ayah to last read folder from the bookmarks list? It has a small bug–automatic last read detection is taking precedence over manual tracking, which should be the other way round.
This information will help us to take better decision in sha Allah.
