On creating Note app just crashed latest version 1.33.0

In the new version 1.33.0, I can't write a Note. When trying to create a Note app crashes or redirects to Surah from Tafsir. Below are my device details:

Assalamualaikum, the option which allows to write notes is bugging out. I updated my app recently and ever since then it won't let me open the notes feature to write notes ; whenever I click on it, the app shuts itself off or closes the ayah. I tried deleting and then reinstalling but it still is the same. Jazakallah Khairan for everything

Trying to take notes on ayahs crashes. Tapping the notes section once does nothing. Doing it the second time, notes panel is displayed but screen goes back to the Quran page.

we have noticed there has been an issue in the Note taking feature on our latest version (1.33.0). We are actively working on resolving it and an update will be available by the end of this week InSha Allah.
