Option to hide Streak
in progress

Assalamu alaikum. I have been enjoying the app so far. Jazakumullahu khairan. But lately, I have been reading more to maintain the streak rather than gain knowledge and please Allah. So, I will really appreciate if there is an option to disable or remove streak for those who want to. Thank you

Crazy how the streak thing is in progress but no the actual worrying mistakes and errors.

Can you please allow a turn off streaks feature

I just want to read without having to see the stats of what I’m doing. I don’t want it to get to my head. “Look how much you’ve read” no, it’s with Allah how much I read. Please allow me to turn it off.

Getting rid of streaks

Assalamu Alaikum! I really enjoyed when there was no streaks. It’s a little annoying to go into the app and see “regain your streak” or something like that. Could you please make it an option to get rid of the streak system?

Also may Allah reward whoever is behind this app, it’s beautiful. I’ve never had any problems with it… it’s just a little annoying that there are streaks now and it’s less “clean”.

Remove Streak feature

It would be better if this option is removed from my journey of reciting the Quran. Because instead of reciting the Quran from the heart, a person is becoming more focused on the time. And then he is not reciting the Quran for the sake of Allah but rather he thinks that he needs to complete his streak, so he gives priority to that. This is harmful to faith and helps Satan. I hope you will think deeply and remove the issue.

I think it's beneficial to me personally because it keeps me on my toes and I don't miss a day without reciting the Qur'an. If I miss a day without reciting and I look at the streak, I would feel sad and remorseful for wasting my day without reciting, hence I make Istighfar for my heedlessness. But if you don't have the streak and you miss a day, maybe the next day you would feel remorseful, but as the days pass, you forget and you might miss another day. The believers need to be constantly reminded.
importance of consistency and building habits, especially when it comes to spiritual practices like reciting the Qur'an. Having a streak or a routine can be a great motivator, and it's relatable that missing a day can feel like a setback.
Your approach is really insightful – by prioritizing daily recitation, you're creating a sense of accountability and mindfulness. It's like you're telling yourself, "I've come this far, I shouldn't break the streak!" And it's interesting how you mention that without a streak, it's easier to fall off track.
The point about believers needing constant reminders is spot on. It's like the saying goes, "Out of sight, out of mind." When we're not consistently engaging with our faith, it's easy to get distracted or complacent.
To me the only part I don't like is the sharing part
"Remind, indeed Reminder benefits"

Remove daily streak notification upon opening
m

ya akhi, could you please remove the ridiculously annoying daily streak notification upon oping the app????? Who's idea even was such a thing? Stop listening to the waswasa of shaytaan ya akhi, Keep It Simple, don't add distractions. Sometimes I open the mushaf to read, don't code your app to judge me for missing a daily streak as if its haram to not read quran daily. As if we read quran for compliments by messages from apps, we read to please Allah only!! barakallahu feekum.

We are working on a solution for this, not exactly hiding. But a way to reduce it's prominence. Also, tweaking the reminders to focus more on Quran reading habit and intention.
We will inform once it's live in the app in sha Allah

Please note reducing is not the solution. We want option to switch it on or off as per reader convenience.
Can't understand why you are emphasizing on reducing only. Hope you will understand our problem and accommodate our request. May Allah give you the best reward.
Thanks & JzakumAllah

Assalamu aleykum,
I would like to disable it as well, I find it sad that this kind of "fear of missing out" inducing features are being forced on all users.
I fear that this beautiful app slowly follows the same track as Muslim Pro, turning from a beautiful, intuitive Quran reading app into an ambitious platform filled with unneeded features, popups, notifications and calls to subscribe. A 5th feature tab has been added today to the main nav bar here (while all I need is the first one), and I got 3 popups before I reached the surah I wanted.
May Allah reward the app creators for this Quran with word-by-word translation, as it certainly helped me and many Muslims to learn much more easily than without. May it remain pleasant to use for as long as possible.
